The two day Pattaya Festival officially begun yesterday (December 24th) and continues today (December 25th).

The festival was launched yesterday at Central Pattaya Beach and was led by the Pattaya City Mayor Sontaya Kunplome.

Mayor Sontaya announced, “The festival is celebrating the 60 year anniversary of Pattaya City tourism.”

“This event is aimed to boost Pattaya tourism as one of the iconic Thailand Tourism Destinations as well as to support the Eastern Economic Corridor projects for further development (EEC).”

Parades and fireworks as well as cultural shows were performed. There will be another parade this afternoon around 5PM and many concerts and cultural presentations this evening.
