3,000 Pattaya area residents receive a third “booster” dose of a Covid -19 vaccine today

Chonburi –

Three thousand residents in the Banglamung area got their third dose of a Covid -19 vaccine at a walk-in today (December 20th) in the Pattaya area.

  • The vaccination campaign was at the indoor stadium in Soi Chaiyapruek. People who live in the Chonburi area received their third doses of either a Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccine.

The vaccination campaign will be continued again on December 23rd and December 24th for 3,000 doses each day from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

For people who want to receive a vaccine in this campaign they must:

For Pfizer be aged more than 12 years old and one of the following:

  • Received Pfizer + Pfizer
  • Recovered from Covid -19 for more than one month
  • Received two doses of a Sinopharm vaccine
  • Received two doses of Sinovac
  • Received two doses of AstraZeneca
  • Received Sinovac + AstraZeneca
  • Received Sinopharm + AstraZeneca
  • Different timetables may apply depending on your last vaccine time period, please check with the Chonburi Department of Public Health for more information.

AstraZeneca guidelines for people aged more than 18 years old

  • Received two doses of AstraZeneca
  • Received AstraZeneca + Pfizer
  • Recovered from Covid -19 for more than one month
  • Different timetables may apply depending on your last vaccine time period, please check with the Chonburi Department of Public Health for more information.

TPN notes that your mileage may vary, especially for foreign nationals. One should check in advance prior to any future walk-in sessions or call 1337, Pattaya City Hall’s 24-hour a day hotline in English and Thai, for specific questions or inquiries.

Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunpluem stated to TPN media that the booster campaign was designed to ensure that Pattaya area residents immunity response to Covid-19 stayed strong, especially with concerns around the Omicron variant of the virus. The campaign is designed to accelerate in the near future as part of an overall plan to keep businesses open and the economy moving in Pattaya.
