The Pattaya Food and Herb Fair is now underway until December 19th.
The festival is being held at the brand new Excite Square Pattaya on Chalerm Phrakiet Pattaya Third Road until December 19th from 2:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. under Covid -19 measurements to boost the economy and tourism in Pattaya. This is part of the grand opening of the new square which will feature dozens of restaurants, bars, pubs, and markets. Excite Square was many years ago the popular Xzyte Disco and then was a field used for mostly markets and fairs and has been redesigned to what organizers hope will be a major nightlife and shopping area.
Shows on stage from singers and bands are being performed each day. There are many booths presenting Thai herbs and selling products from food vendors as well as Thai herbalists selling plants and flowers. There are also cocktail carts (for takeaway) and plenty of cultural activities for the whole family.
