Salon in Pattaya offering free haircuts to help locals during Covid -19

Pattaya-

Jutamart Salon School is providing free haircuts to locals in South Pattaya to help during Covid -19.

The free haircut is being provided off of South Pattaya Road near the Buakhao Market. Both Thai locals and foreign ex-pats were seen queuing up to get their hair cut on Tuesday (November 2nd).

Mr. Tannakorn Neoysoongnern, 48, a teacher at the Jutamart Salon School told The Pattaya News, “We normally provide free hair cuts at this area every Tuesday and Friday afternoon by our students.”

“We want to help locals and residents during this Covid -19 crisis. This is also important for practice lessons for our students.” Tannakorn added.

“We have provided free haircuts for many years but we stopped when the Covid-19 outbreak started. We have decided to come back again now that the city has opened to foreign tourists.” Tannakorn explained.

“On this Saturday, November 6th, we will provide free hair cuts at Baan Ua-Athorn Na Jomtien Estate.”

Most people who have used their service said they normally do their haircuts by themselves. They stated to reporters that they live on tight budgets and welcome the opportunity for a free haircut, even by students that are learning.
