Three people injured after sedan driver crashes into road barriers in Banglamung

Three people have sustained injuries after a sedan driver slammed into road barriers on Motorway 7 in Nongprue. Traffic was tailed back many kilometers yesterday as a result of the accident (October 18th).

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 5:30 P.M. on Motorway 7 section 5 in Nongprue.

The first response teams, Nongprue police, and The Pattaya News team arrived at the scene of the accident to find a damaged sedan and the pickup truck. Three people inside the sedan had sustained injuries. All three were taken to a local hospital for medical assistance. Traffic was tailed back many kilometers as a result of the accident. The names of the injured were withheld by Nongprue police, pending a further investigation of the circumstances behind the accident.

The pickup truck driver, whose name was not given to the press and was not injured, told first responders and law enforcement, “The sedan driver was driving at high speed before crashing into road barriers and my pickup truck. They lost control and were being reckless with their speeding.”

However, Nongprue police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the accident for further potential legal action and liability.
