Driver seriously injured after driving his motorbike into a cement truck in Pattaya

Banglamung/Pattaya –

A driver has sustained serious injuries after he crashed his motorbike into the back of a cement truck in Pattaya.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 5:30 P.M. yesterday (August 24th) on number 331 Road in Huayyai.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the motorbike stuck in the back of a cement truck on 331 road.

The male motorbike driver, whose name was not given by emergency responders, was stuck in the wreckage of his motorbike. Rescue workers used a hydraulic cutter to remove him from the motorbike. He had sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

The truck driver, Mr. Suwan Sukwiiset, 52, told Banglamung police, “I stopped my truck on the side of the road to review some papers inside my truck with warning lights and signs on. The motorbike driver, however, crashed into the rear end of my truck. I immediately called the police for assistance, I was not injured in the accident.”

The injured man remains at a local hospital in serious condition, according to Banglamung police.
