Two drivers injured after their pickup trucks collide in Pattaya area overnight

Banglamung –

Two drivers have survived after their pickup trucks collided in Banglamung, part of the greater Pattaya area, early this morning (July 6th), sending at least one driver to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Banglamung Police were notified of the accident on Sukhumvit Road in Rong Poa in Banglamung well after midnight this morning.

They and The Pattaya News reporters arrived at the scene to find two damaged pickup trucks. The two drivers were named as Mr. Anuwat Kasemsawat, 49, and Mr. Sarayut Jampa, 30, and both had sustained various injuries.

Mr. Anuwat told the Banglamung police, “While I was driving, the other pickup truck (driven by Sarayut) crashed into the back of me and then overturned.”

Mr. Sarayut did not immediately release a statement due to his injuries and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Anuwat was treated at the scene.

Banglamung police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of accident for further potential legal charges and to determine liability.
