Rayong announces 37 new confirmed cases of Covid – 19

Rayong –

The Rayong Public Health Office today (April 28th) has announced 37 new confirmed cases of Covid-19.

This makes a total of 481 cases of Covid-19 in the current round of Covid-19, since the start of this recent round of infections in early April.

Of those 37 new cases, 16 were found through contact tracing and in hospitals, and 21 were found through active case-finding in local communities.

Of those 481, 461 are Thais while 20 are foreigners/migrant workers.

Additionally, 117 people in total have now been released from medical care and fully recovered since this current wave began.

The Rayong Governor, Mr. Channa Eiamsang, told the local media, “Please wear face mask all the time and practice social distancing to reduce the chance of spreading the infections.”
