RECAP: Thailand discovers 27 domestic infections among 48 new Covid-19 Coronavirus daily cases in past 24 hours

Thailand reported 27 domestic infections among a total of 48 new Covid-19 Coronavirus daily cases in the past 24 hours, the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced this morning, March 30th.

The majority of 22 local infections were walk-in/hospital cases, including contact tracing, that were confirmed in Bangkok with 14, Samut Sakhon with 6, and Nakhon Pathom with 2.

The other five cases were reported during proactive case finding in local communities, particularly in local markets, factories, migrant worker’s dormitories, and immigration detention in Bangkok with 3 and Samut Sakhon with 2.

As of today, 66 people fully recovered in the past 24 hours and have been released from field hospitals and quarantine centers. Thailand has now reached a total of 28,821 cases with 27,379 recoveries and a total of 94 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
