Driver survives after crashing his pickup truck into Chonburi dormitory

Chonburi –

A middle-aged Thai male driver has survived after his pickup truck crashed into a dormitory in Mueang Chonburi earlier this week.

The Mueang Chonburi Police was notified of the accident earlier this week in the late afternoon (March 22nd) in the Na Pa sub-district.

Police and rescue workers arrived at the scene to find a damaged pickup truck that had directly collided with a wall of a dormitory for students.

The driver, Mr. Mangkorn Jaroenwai, 59, claimed, “I tried to avoid a collision with another pickup truck which immediately came out in front of my vehicle which made me crash into the wall of a dormitory.”

Mueang Chonburi police are checking CCTV nearby to find the exact cause of the accident and verify the claims of the driver for further potential legal action.
