Young man arrested in Si Racha area after murdering his girlfriend in front of his two-year-old stepdaughter in Si Racha

Si Racha –

A man was arrested in Banglamung earlier this week after reportedly brutally slashing and stabbing his girlfriend to death in front of his two- year-old stepdaughter before dumping her body in a Si Racha forest.

The Si Racha Police was notified that a woman’s body was found near the Bang Phra reservoir in the Bang Phra sub-district on Wednesday (March 10th).

Police, rescue workers, and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the body of Ms. Anuchara Intaritm, 22, from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Slash and stab wounds were found on her face and body.

Police later arrested the prime suspect, Mr. Santiphap Pratomkruk, 23, who was Ms. Anuchara’s boyfriend. He was arrested at a house in the Nong Plalai sub-district, in Banglamung.

The suspect had reportedly admitted to police he stabbed and slashed his girlfriend to death with a knife.

Santiphap told Si Racha Police, “My girlfriend was cheating on me. We had multiple arguments before breaking up. I was sending her and my two-year-old stepdaughter to a public van (minibus) as she was going back to her home province after we had ended our relationship.”

“While I was bringing her to the bus station the other man she was involved with called her and she started talking to him over the phone. I became extremely angry and we started arguing again. I moved my stepdaughter out of the way before stabbing and slashing my ex-girlfriend to death.” Santiphap continued.

“I lost control of myself. I didn’t recognize what I was doing at that time. I took her body and dumped her in a forest area on the side of the road four meters away from where I killed her.” Santiphap concluded.

A re-enactment was conducted and Santiphap remains in custody where he plans to plead guilty, according to Si Racha police. The young child was not harmed and was taken into the custody of other family members.
