Jomtien, Chonburi –

The Pattaya City Police was notified of the incident at 10:00 A.M. at a closed restaurant on Jomtien Beach Road. The discovery was made by people out exercising who had noticed the horrific scene and immediately contacted law enforcement officials for assistance.
Police, emergency responders, and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the body of a man who was later identified by police as a 53-year-old Thai man. His name was withheld per editorial policy. The man was a regular presence in the Jomtien Beach area and may have been homeless and destitute, according to Pattaya City Law Enforcement.
Police believe that the man passed away at least five hours before his body was discovered.
