Cambodian worker seriously injured after falling from the 8th floor at an under construction condominium in Si Racha

A Cambodian worker has sustained serious injuries after falling down from the eighth floor at an under construction condominium in Si Racha.

Rescue workers were notified of the incident yesterday (March 5th) at a construction site in the Nongkham sub-district.

The rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the injured man, Mr. Iet Teak, 26, a Cambodian national who was unconscious. He had sustained serious head injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital.

The supervisor of the workers, Mrs. Sirinrat Promjairak, 52, told associated press, “Mr. Iet was looking down at the ground while he was working on the 8th floor before falling down onto scaffolding on the second floor.”

The incident is under investigation by multiple relevant agencies, according to law enforcement.
