Major new public park in Jomtien 70 percent completed

Jomtien, Chonburi –

A new public park with a lagoon that will be called ‘Bueng Nong Pong’ on Jomtien Second Road near the Riviera is now 70 percent complete. The public park will be ready to use within this year, according to Pattaya area officials.

The total construction budget is about 32 million baht. The construction originally started in May last year.

The Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunplume told The Pattaya News, “The public park construction is now seventy percent complete which will be finished on schedule. It is expected to be one hundred percent complete by August.”

“The public park will be a major attraction for Jomtien and Pattaya which will attract both locals and foreigners for relaxing and exercising. The lagoon will be used for water sports with no engines.”
