Pattaya –
A Russian female motorbike driver has sustained serious injuries after reportedly being crashed into by a motorbike whose male German driver allegedly ran through a red light in Central Pattaya at the Third Road intersection.
The Pattaya City Police was notified of the accident yesterday, (March 2nd), in the late afternoon.
Police, emergency responders, and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find one injured person who was identified by police as Ms. Olyca Dolinina, 20, a Russian national.
She had sustained serious injuries including broken bones. She was taken to a nearby hospital.
Witnesses told The Pattaya News the German motorbike driver, who was identified by police as Ferer Gerk, 64, ran through a red light at the intersection before crashing into the Russian motorbike driver.
The German driver is facing charges of reckless driving causing injuries and driving a motorbike through a red light according to Pattaya police.
