Alleged Chonburi drug dealer arrested with 2 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine

An alleged drug dealer has been arrested with almost two kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (Ya Ice) in Chonburi yesterday (March 1st).

The Mueang Chonburi Police reported a team of police led by Police Chief Colonel Nitat Waenpradap and Deputy Police Lieutenant Colonel Tapanat Chayanpat arrested the male suspect, aged 22, in the Mueang Chonburi district (The name of the suspect was not reported by police.)

Seized from him was reportedly 1,978.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine (Ya Ice in Thai).

He is facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 Drugs (Crystal methamphetamine) with intent to sell. Pattaya and Chonburi police had repeatedly said they are working on cracking down on illegal drugs in the Pattaya area.
