Pattaya-

The Pattaya City government has received 21 air-conditioned buses today to use for the Pattaya City public school system and overall educational purposes, such as transportation.

The Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunplume stated to The Pattaya News today (February 24th) that city leaders had received 21 air-conditioned buses in total, with varying sizes and capacities.

The Mayor added in a brief interview to the local press, “Pattaya City has approved a 57 million baht budget for educational purposes to develop modern school transportation and management in Pattaya.”

“These buses are aimed to facilitate learning outside schools for students in Pattaya City which will be used during the 2021 year semester. They will be used for field trips, transportation, and overall support for the school system which lacks a current central transportation infrastructure.” The Mayor concluded.

The buses will be allocated to each public school in the Pattaya area with the assistance of local officials, the Mayor added.
