Driver dies after his “big bike” collides with pickup truck in Chonburi

Chonburi-

A driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after his “big bike” collided with a pickup truck in the Pan Thong district yesterday.

The Pan Thong Police was notified of the accident at 6:30 P.M. on the Pan Thong – Hua Pai Road in the Na Pradoo sub-district.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr Phinsawat Jorasa, 36, from Amnatjaroen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nearby, responders found his damaged 650 cc motorbike and a pickup truck on the side of the road.

The pickup truck driver, Mr. Chao Jaroensuk, 83, claimed, “I was turning into the driveway of my home. I did not see the motorbike before the crash. I had been returning home from a shopping trip.”

Police are continuing their investigation to determine exactly what happened during the accident.
