Driver seriously injured in Pattaya after crashing into water hydrant and beer truck

Pattaya-

A driver has sustained serious injuries after their car crashed into a water hydrant on the side of the road before colliding with a beer truck in Pattaya.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 1:30 A.M. on Na Klua Road in Banglamung.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged car on the road. Two injured people were found inside the car.

One of them had sustained serious injuries who was named as Mr. Sangsom Saengow, 33. He was unconscious with severe head injuries. Another Thai man, 30, had sustained minor injuries. They were taken to a hospital. He was not named to the press and declined an interview.

Witnesses told Pattaya police they saw the car was driving at allegedly high speed before losing control of the car and then colliding with a beer truck. Law enforcement is reportedly reviewing the incident.
