Chonburi reports zero new confirmed cases of Covid-19 for today

Chonburi-

As Chonburi prepares to open many closed venues after a month closure due to Covid-19 related rules the province reported zero new confirmed cases of Covid-19 today.

In the past eleven days the province has reported only one case of the virus, an asymptomatic patient who doctors believe was a “legacy” case from a brewery cluster in Si Racha in late December and likely not contagious with a small viral load of the virus.

Out of precaution, however, that patient has been quarantined for fourteen days along with their close contacts, who have all tested negative for the virus, including multiple live-in family members.

Chonburi opens entertainment venues, gyms, pools, and other places today after a month closure. However, strict rules around the Covid-19 Coronavirus will take place and bars and nightlife must be closed by 11:00 PM. Schools also reopen today and travel restrictions for the province have been lifted, so anyone can enter or leave without permission.
