Driver killed after motorbike collides with pickup truck in Chonburi

Chonburi –

A motorbike driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a pickup truck in the Panat Nikhom district yesterday.

The Sawang Het rescue team reported they were notified of the accident yesterday (January 29th) on Nernngern – Koh Poe Road in the Nong Heng sub-district around late afternoon.

Rescue workers arrived at the scene to find an unidentified man lying on the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene and is believed to be a Thai national.

Also on the road rescue workers found the victim’s damaged motorbike while a damaged pickup truck was found on the side of the road.

The Panat Nikhom Police are investigating the accident to determine potential fault and the circumstances behind the accident as there were no immediate witnesses.

The pickup driver was not named by law enforcement officers and refused to speak to the press, notes The Pattaya News.
