The shaken but uninjured trailer truck driver, Mr. Rattana Panphon, 28, was waiting at the scene for assistance and described as cooperative by law enforcement despite being visibly upset and shocked.
Rattana told police, “I was feeling tired and looking for a place to pull over for a nap but this particular stretch of road had no rest areas available.”
