The second case was a 53-year-old Thai man who had reportedly traveled to several high-risk provinces, including Chanthaburi, Chonburi, and Phetchaburi, from December 26th to the 30th. He was experiencing a fever and dry cough on January 3rd before seeking a Covid-19 test at Nonthaburi hospital on January 5th.

He was tested for Covid-19 and also diagnosed with pneumonitis. His conditions became worse during the treatment at the hospital and he was pronounced dead at 10:00 P.M. on January 13th.
