Famous social influencer Patcharaporn “Piploy” Inthet was tragically killed in a car accident last night, January 7th, while traveling on road No.11 in the Wat Bot district of Phitsanulok province.
The 24-year-old female driver was reportedly heading back to Bangkok after a trip to the Northern provinces with her family, including her husband, a four-year-old daughter, and a three-year-old boy, when her vehicle crashed into an electric pole before plunging off the road.
Piploy was reportedly unconscious while her husband was injured from a broken rib when police officers and medical volunteers arrived at the scene shortly after being alerted of the incident. Both of their children were reportedly safe and not injured.
The couple was transferred to a local hospital, where the husband was being treated for his rib. However, Piploy was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.
Police are examining the scene and investigating the cause of death. Initially, they believe that the deceased was experiencing drowsy driving due to fatigue from driving for many hours.
Thai social media was full of memorial posts to the influencer who was known for her makeup tutorials and blogs and had hundreds of thousands of followers on various social media platforms.
