A woman has survived after she fell down from a third floor window while she was walking up a stair case at an apartment building in Pattaya.
Emergency responders were notified of the incident at 4:30AM over the past weekend at an apartment building in Nongprue.
They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find Ms. Saowaluck Hasamree, 37, from Yasothorn.
She had sustained injuries from cut wounds and was bleeding heavily. She was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.
Witnesses told The Pattaya News that they heard something hit the roof before the woman started crying for help.
The injured woman told The Pattaya News that she pushed her hand against a shutter style window on the third floor landing while she was walking up to her apartment on the fourth floor, admitting that she was heavily intoxicated having returned from a party. She had lost her balance and was having trouble walking which is why she leaned against the shutter window, which gave way.
She tumbled out the window after the shutter gave way, landing on a storage shed above the ground which helped limit her overall injuries. She is recovering at a local hospital.
