An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to a village in Sattahip to remove five grenades found dumped among roadside rubbish.
The Sattahip Police was informed by a local resident that the grenades were found in a garbage pile on the side of the road at a community at Soi Sukhumvit 9 in Baan Taotan over the weekend.
Police and a local Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team arrived at the scene to find five old blue grenades.
The EOD officers said those grenades were primarily utilized for throwing drills and training and were not working and not dangerous. However. the grenades were removed from the area.

The Sattahip Police are working on identifying the owner and where the grenades came from and why they were disposed of improperly.
