Five injured after sedan crashes into Chonburi power pole

Chonburi-

Five people have sustained injuries after a sedan slammed into a power pole in Mueang Chonburi last night (December 1st).

Dragon rescue reports that they were notified of the accident at 10:23PM on Phraya Sajja Road.

The rescue team rushed to the scene to find a damaged overturned sedan and a damaged power pole on the road.

Three men and two women were found inside the sedan. It took about half an hour for rescue workers to use a jaw of life to free them out from the sedan. They were taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Witnesses told rescue workers that the sedan was driving at very high speed before the accident.

The sedan lost control at a curve before crashing into the power pole and overturning according to witnesses.

The five occupants of the car remain in a local hospital as of press time.
