Pattaya Fireworks Festival starts today-Here is what to know, times, road closures, events, parking, etc

Pattaya, Thailand-

After weeks of anticipation The Pattaya Fireworks Festival will start today, November 27th, 2020 on Beach Road in Pattaya.

The event will continue through tomorrow, November 28th, 2020.

This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the show is “All Thailand” and will not be international or competition style like prior years. However, organizers have ensured they are still going to put on a world class show with four fireworks displays each night.

Beach Road will close to parking at 3:00 PM and will close entirely to all vehicle traffic at 4:00 PM both today and tomorrow.

A parade will take place at 6:00 PM marching from North Pattaya down Beach Road to the main stage area located near Central Festival Mall.

This will be followed by various shows, the opening ceremony with the Pattaya Mayor and the first of four fifteen minute fireworks shows scheduled at 7:20 PM. The shows will be broken up by various cultural shows, musical artists and performances. A 45 minute concert by popular Thai artist “Mean” is scheduled at 8:05 PM after the second round of fireworks. After this concert will be a third fireworks show and an elephant show. The final fireworks show is scheduled for 9:30 PM and will be followed by a concert from popular Thai rock band “Big Ass”.
