An intoxicated female motorbike driver was seriously injured after crashing into some Pattaya road barriers yesterday.
Rescue workers were notified of the accident after midnight (November 26th) on a road near a railway in Soi Khao Talo.
They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find Ms. Wassana Nalongprom , 24.
She had sustained multiple injuries and according to rescue workers at the scene smelled heavily of alcohol. She was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.
Ms. Wassana’s friend, who wasn’t named, told Pattaya police that they were coming back from a party. The friend allegedly admitted that Wassana had been drinking heavily at the party and had driven despite this.
According to the friend, Wassana lost control of her motorbike before crashing into the road barriers.
Pattaya Police did not immediately announce if charges would be pressed involving the incident and Ms. Wassana remains in a local hospital as of press time recovering from her injuries.
