Man arrested for allegedly stealing tablet from two year old girl in Sattahip

Chonburi-

A Thai man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a tablet from a 2-year–old girl in Sattahip earlier this week.

Ms. Monta Chumtham, 30, has filed a report with what she says is CCTV footage evidence of the incident to the Na Jomtien Police on Wednesday (November 18th).

She told police, “My 2 year old daughter and I were sitting inside a customer’s waiting room while my car was being cleaned at a car wash in a gas station on Sukhumvit Road in Na Jomtien.”

“My daughter put the tablet, which costs about 5,000 baht, on a table.”

“The suspect grabbed the tablet when we were not looking before speeding away in his personal vehicle.” Monta concluded.

Today, (November 21st), the Na Jomtien Police arrested a Thai Male suspect, Pattakiet Jaidee, 38. Police reportedly seized the stolen tablet from him.

He is facing charges of theft. The tablet in question has been returned to the 2-year-old girl.
