Pattaya to hold ‘The Colorful Eastern Food and Music Fest” next weekend to boost domestic tourism

The ‘Colorful Eastern Food and Music Fest event is planned to be held on Pattaya Beach and at Central Festival this month to boost domestic coastal tourism.

The news was revealed to the press yesterday afternoon at Central Festival Pattaya Beach and was led by the Chonburi Governor Phakkathorn Teanchai and the Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Eakkasing.

Joining them were Chachoengsao Tourism and Sport Chief Ms. Kanchala Sukittrakun and Rayong Tourism and Sport Chief Mr. Pongana Janprai.

Chonburi Governor Phakkathorn told the press conference “This event is going to be a new and huge union of tourism provinces in the Eastern region of Thailand who are joining together and is comprised of the Chonburi, Rayong and Chachoengsao provinces.”

“The event will be held on October 22 to October 25 on Pattaya Beach from Central Festival Pattaya Beach to Soi 11.”

“This years concept is ‘Colorful Eastern Food and Music’ which will have many fun activities and delicious street food. There will be shows, live music, art exhibitions and entertainment.” He added.

“The event is aimed to boost tourism and generate income to local businesses.” He concluded
