Pattaya motorbike driver killed after crashing into tree

Pattaya, Banglamung,Chonburi-

A motorbike driver has died at the scene after crashing into a tree in front of a condominium in Jomtien this morning.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 7:30 AM on Jomtien Second Road.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the body of a Thai man, identified as Mr. Wetpisit Satitnapa, 24, bleeding heavily on the road.

A damaged Kawasaki Ninja 250 CC motorbike was found nearby.

A witness, Mr. Rungnapa Jantamut, 25, told The Pattaya News that she was working as a road sweeper when the incident took place.

She claims the driver used to drive his motorbike at high speed in this area every day. He never wore a helmet she stated.

This time, he lost control at a curve before crashing into a tree on a central reservation. He was not wearing a helmet this morning.
