Motorbike driver killed in Banglamung after colliding with SUV while driving the wrong way – VIDEO

Banglamung, Chonburi-

A motorbike rider who was driving the wrong way died at the scene after crasing head on to an SUV in Banglamung last night.

The Nongprue Police were notified of the accident at 11:00 PM on the bridge road Number 36 in the Pong sub district.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a damaged motorbike and the body of the driver Mr. Samai Sangjanda, 34.

One hundred meters away rescue staff found a damaged SUV.

The SUV driver, Mr. Krittidet Kaewpeng, 42, told police that Samai was driving the wrong way at high speed. Krittidet was not injured.

Witnesses at the scene showed police a dash cam video from another vehicle which had also been posted on a Facebook page. The video appeared to confirm Krittidet’s story.

However, Nongprue police are questioning the SUV driver and witnesses, including the individual who posted the dash cam footage, for more information.
