Man rescued after attempt to hang himself from a tree in Pattaya

Pattaya-

A 31 year old man survived after an attempt to hang himself under a mango tree in Pattaya last night.

Emergency responders were called to a housing estate in Moo 5 Nongprue at 9:30 PM.

Rescue workers and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the man, whose name was withheld, aged 31 years old, hanging from a rope on his neck from a mango tree.

He was quickly brought down from the tree. Emergency responders provided CPR before he was taken to a local hospital.

His relatives told Pattaya police that the man went out from the house earlier in the day and did not return home. They searched for him before finding him hanging from the mango tree.

They do not know any reasons why he wanted to kill himself and claim he did not show any signs of stress or problems.
