National park officer allegedly attacked by group of teenagers in Banglamung, claims was for no reason

Banglamung-
A national park officer stated to Banglamung police that he was attacked by a group of teenagers last night for no apparent reason, suffering head injuries.

The Huay Yai Police was notified of the incident at 10:30 PM at a house in Baan Phuthai.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find Mr. Phonsuwan Arunsri, a staffer of Khao Laem Ya – Mu Koh Samet. He was bleeding from head injuries. He was taken to the Banglamung Hospital after a brief statement to police.

Phonsuwan’s relatives told Banglamung police that they were chattering in front of the house. A group of teenagers who were drinking nearby allegedly used a hammer to hit Mr. Phonsuwan before running away. The relatives and Phonsuwan claim the attack was for no reason.

Banglamung police are continuing their investigation to determine if the attack was indeed for “no reason”.
