Thai Cabinet approves waiver of some motorway usage fees over upcoming holiday weekend, including Bangkok to Pattaya

Bangkok-

Deputy Prime Minister Trisoul Trisornkul, Deputy Spokesman of the Office of the Prime Minister, announced today that the Thai Cabinet has waived motorway usage fees over the upcoming holiday weekend to help encourage domestic tourism.

The affected highways are Highway No. 7 running from Bangkok to Pattaya to Map Ta Phut And the motorway number 9 Bang Pa-in-Bang Phli.

The hours affected will be from  00.01 hrs on the third of July to 24.00 hrs of the 8th of July.

The weekend is a religious public holiday and a four day weekend for many.
