Thailand announces only one new confirmed case of Covid-19, imported from overseas

The Thai Government Spokesperson Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin announced only one new confirmed case of the Covid19 Coronavirus in the entire country of Thailand today.

The new case was imported, which means it was brought and discovered by a Thai national returning from overseas on a repatriation flight who went immediately to state quarantine.

This brings Thailand to a total of 3,034 cases with 2,888 of those fully recovered and released. 31 patients were released overnight from hospitals in Thailand leaving only 90 patients remaining in the entire country with Covid-19.

There have been a total of 56 deaths since the start of the outbreak in Thailand, but none in over a week.

Chonburi remains at zero new confirmed cases for 26 days.

Pattaya City has had no new confirmed cases in 36 days.
