Thailand announces one new case of the Covid-19 Coronavirus

Bangkok-

The Thai government has announced one new case of the Covid-19 Coronavirus this morning at a daily press conference in Bangkok.

Led by Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, the spokesman of the CCSA, or the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, he announced the new case as being in Chiang Mai, that had previously been clear for over a month.

The case, a 39 year old man, had just returned from Phuket recently and is considered imported from the island.

The man is asymptomatic, Dr. Taweesin added.

In addition, 6 more people were released and fully recovered from the virus overnight.

Thailand has had a total of 3018 cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus. Of those cases, 2,850 have fully recovered. There have been 56 deaths.
