Two female teenagers seriously injured after hit and run accident in Pattaya

Pattaya-

Two teenagers on a motorbike have sustained serious injuries after being hit by a car yesterday who then fled the scene of the accident. Pattaya Police are hunting for the vehicle driver.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 8:30PM on Sukhumwit Road near the North Pattaya intersection.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find two female teenagers aged around 15-18 years old.

They were bleeding heavily on the road, with one unable to move after the incident. They were both rushed to a local hospital.

Witnesses told The Pattaya News that a white Honda sedan was over taking the girl’s motorbike on the left lane with high speed at a green light before clipping them and causing the accident. The vehicle then sped away after the girls motorbike crashed.

Police are checking CCTV footages nearby to find the sedan driver and move forward with legal action.
