Chonburi has zero new cases of Covid-19 for fourth day in a row

Chonburi-

The province of Chonburi, home of Pattaya City, has recorded zero new cases of the Covid19 Coronavirus for the fourth day in a row, according to a press release by the Public Relations division of Chonburi.

Of note, Banglamung, which is where Pattaya is located, has had no cases of Covid-19 for entering the tenth day. The two cases of Covid-19 in the past ten days were both in the Phan Thong district of Chonburi which is located in the far North of the province closest to Bangkok and were close contacts of each other.

Fifteen patients remain under treatment in Chonburi for the disease. 70 have been fully recovered and released. There were two previous deaths, both foreigners several weeks ago. In total, the Chonburi province has had 87 cases since the start of the outbreak of Covid-19.

34 people are currently considered people under investigation for the disease, either those with possible symptoms or contacts of previous confirmed cases being monitored.
