Thailand announces 34 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 and one additional death

Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, the spokesman for the Thailand Covid-19 Situation Center, announced 34 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 this morning at a daily press conference in Bangkok.

One additional death, a bus driver, was also announced.

The majority of the new cases come from a single community in Phuket, which is currently in a lockdown and conducting proactive checks door to door across the island, searching for people with high temperature and who are sick.

Chonburi had zero new cases today, the second day in a row.
