Chonburi Governor holds meeting, more restrictions coming including restaurant eat in exception ending, extensions on entertainment closures

Chonburi:

A meeting was held this afternoon with the Chonburi Governor, Pakorn Tieanchai and the Chonburi Committee for Communicable Diseases which came to several new resolutions regarding restrictions and closures in the Chonburi area.

It is important to note, the order has not been finalized and drafted and the details below are subject to change when the order is completed, which will be posted on social media channels and here on The Pattaya News. The order is not effective until it is completed and signed. The following items, however, the Committee said one can expect to see on the order:

-Extensions on all entertainment venue closures, such as bars, nightclubs, spas, massage shops, gogos, etc.  The expected end date will be “when the situation improves.”

-Removal of the eat in exception for restaurants overall. Only take away will be available at ALL restaurants.

-Restrictions on bringing food and drink to eat in public areas as groups such as the Reservoirs, parking lots, etc.

-Hardware and construction material stores may reopen.

-A few tourist attractions evidently remain open due to being in grey areas, like Nong Nooch Garden or the Floating Market according to the meeting. They will ordered closed as well until the situation improves.

-Private nurseries will be closed until the situation improves, such as daycare centers, etc.

-The specific details will be released by tomorrow at the latest, the Governor added.
