Three men arrested with 4,000 methamphetamine pills and a kilo of crystal meth in Chonburi

Chonburi –
Three suspects have been arrested with 4,000 methamphetamine pills and one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine in Chonburi yesterday afternoon.

The Pattaya City Police Chief Colonel Khemmarin Pitsamai and the Chonburi Provincial Police revealed to The Pattaya News that they have arrested three suspects who are 35 year old Mr. Apinan ‘Nan’ Maiwong, 22 year old Mr. Saharat ‘Pei’ Siriwong and 53 year old Mr. Abkunrorsak ‘Dun’ Tingnamrob.

Police seized one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine and 4,000 methamphetamine pills.

Colonel Khemmarin said the suspects were transferring drugs from Nakhon Phanom in the North East to Satun in the south of Thailand in an organized smuggling network. A tipoff led to the capture which also resulted in the seizure of several vehicles used in the smuggling process.

They have been charged with illegal possession of Category 1 Drugs with intent to sell.
