Russian tourist allegedly attacked by bouncers and injured after refusing to pay bill at a Walking Street Russian Gogo

Pattaya –
A heavily intoxicated Russian man was allegedly attacked by guards at a Russian Gogo on Pattaya Walking Street early this morning after he refused to pay his bill of roughly two thousand baht.

The Pattaya City Police was notified of the incident at 3:00AM at Pattaya Walking Street at the Crazy Russian Girls Gogo. Two Russian men were found at the scene in an enraged state and were arrested and taken to the Pattaya police station. Both men were heavily intoxicated according to Pattaya Police and were placed into the prison cells to await court in the morning.

Police found that one of them, 34 year old Mr. Evgeni Karpenko, had sustained an ankle injury and shortly after being placed into the prison cells began asking for medical care. He was taken to a local hospital, given treatment and returned to the prison cell later in the evening.

The two men later explained to police that they were drinking at the Crazy Russian Girls night club for some time. The men admitted they refused to pay their bill because they were intoxicated and did not have a compelling reason not to pay. They claimed to Pattaya Police that they were attacked first, however.

However, Pattaya police are continuing their investigation for further legal action. The Police told the Pattaya News reporters they will be reviewing CCTV in the club and speaking with club management as they are unsure at this point if the staff attacked the men first as the men self admitted to instigating the incident.

We will provide further updates to the story as we get them.
