Nine Chinese Nationals arrested with no work permit at Sri Racha temple

Nine Chinese Nationals have been arrested with no work permit at a temple in Sri Racha.

This week a team of officers from the Immigration office have arrested nine Chinese who have rented a hall at the temple.

They had entered Thailand with a tourist visa.

They were selling overpriced amulets to Chinese tourists. They have also provided ceremony services for Chinese tourists.

These Chinese tourists have been delivered to the temple from Chinese tour companies.

The Nine Chinese suspects have been charged with working without work permit and are being held by immigration officials.
