Prime Minister Prayut has congratulated Vietjet on its new international service connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Pattaya via U-Tapao International Airport.
The new route will operate a daily service with a flight time of one hour and thirty minutes per leg, starting from December 23, 2019.

Vietjet Vice President Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh said: “The new service Ho Chi Minh City – Pattaya will expand Vietjet’s flight network in Thailand and offer travelers convenient connection at low fares to and from the top destination of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. “
Vietjet will operate the most routes and frequencies between Thailand and Vietnam with 8 direct routes in total, including Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang/Hai Phong/Da Lat – Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and services from Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket/Chiang Mai and Ho Chi Minh City-Utapao.
It is expected to help promote the number of tourists traveling between Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces of Vietnam with the Rayong and Pattaya area.
