At least fourteen people seriously injured after fuel tanker collides with minibus in Sri Racha

At least 14 people have been injured after a minibus collided with a diesel fuel trailer truck in Sri Racha this morning.

Pure Yiang Tai Sri Racha Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 9:40AM at a U-turn on Indochina Road in Nongkham.

They rushed to the scene to find the damaged minibus and the 18 wheel trailer truck which was carrying diesel fuel.

Fourteen people had sustained injuries. They were taken to a local hospital. They were conflicting reports from different news media on the exact number injured, we can confirm that at least fourteen people were taken to a hospital.

The trailer driver, who was not injured, told police that he was going to take a U-turn. The minibus was driving with high speed he alleged and was unable to avoid the collision.

The fuel tanker was checked and it was confirmed there was no fuel leak. However, police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
