A flood prevention system continues to be constructed along Pattaya beach road.

Pattaya City Officials have announced this afternoon that further portions of the road will be closed for construction in the coming weeks and months, including high season, causing potential traffic disruption.

A 95 million baht budget is being used for a flood prevention system along Beach Road. The construction contract started on June 19 this year to February 13 next year.

The construction is a total of 240 days. The construction started from the curve near Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel to Walking Street. Some parts of the road will be temporaraily close for the construction.
