Police hunting for Banglamung gold snatcher

Banglamung –
A suspect has snatched a gold necklace from a Thai couple who were buying fruit near the side of the road in Nongprue yesterday, August 16, 2019.

Capt Chanchai Sanguansri of the Nongprue Police was notified of an incident at Soi Chaiyapruek 2 at 6.30PM.

Police and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the Thai couple in obvious distress. 31 year old Wuttichai Srisook told police that he was with his wife and their kid on a motorbike purchasing fruit when the incident happened.

They had stopped to buy fruit on the side of the road when a male suspect, who is believed to be a young Thai, stopped near them on his own motorbike.

The suspect then snatched a gold necklace valued at about 20,000 baht from the couple and sped away.

Police are now hunting for the suspect and reviewing CCTV.
