Altercation Between Motorcycle Taxi Driver and Passengers Results in Injuries Near Pattaya

Nongprue — An altercation between a motorcycle taxi driver and two passengers turned violent, leaving one woman injured and requiring stitches. The incident occurred on July 2nd in Soi Pattaya 4, Sai Song.

According to eyewitnesses, Ms. Mayom Wimonsuk (42) and her younger sister, Ms. Atitiya Ritthiyan (25), confronted the motorcycle taxi driver after he failed to use his turn signal. The disagreement escalated, and the driver allegedly physically attacked the passengers. Mayom suffered a head injury, while Atitiya was punched repeatedly.

A video clip captured the incident, showing the assailant wearing an orange motorcycle vest with the number 12. Villagers and tourists attempted to intervene, but tensions remained high. Both parties exchanged insults before authorities were notified.

Police Lieutenant Kittiphong is investigating the case, and the video clip will serve as crucial evidence in legal proceedings. Police are working on tracking down the motorbike taxi driver as of press time.
